Limburg talent
Among the Dutch competitor field are three young very talented riders from the province of Limburg, such as Lisa Nooren. The 19-year-old Lisa finished third in last year’s Longines Trophy – Grand Prix of Maastricht. This year she was very successful. She won individual and team silver at the European Championships for Young Riders in Millstreet, Ireland. Recently she won the CSI3* Grand Prix of Donaueschingen in Germany.

Sanne Thijssen, the daughter of international Leon Thijssen, has had a successful year so far as well. The 17-year-old was the youngest winner ever of the Eindhoven Derby and she won team gold at the EC for Young Riders in Millstreet. She just missed an individual medal and had to settle for fourth place. Sanne won the Grands Prix of CSI3* Bonheiden (BEL) and CSI2* Mijas (ESP).

Michel Hendrix from Kessel is the third rider of the strong Limburg delegatio. Michel recently won the Grand Prix of CSI4* Zandhoven and earlier this year the GP of CSI4* Arnhem. In September he made his debut in the Grand Prix of the prestigious CSIO5* Spruce Meadows and finished in a fantastic ninth place.
