Jumping Indoor Maastricht 2019

From 8 until 10 November, 2019 is the MECC in Maastricht back in the sign of equestrian sports. Three days sport alternating with Limburg atmosphere.

Houwen and Krause win morning classes
On Saturday morning Fieke Houwen from Venray, the Netherlands won the Euregio dressage competition Z2-level, the Marli Hommel Art Prize with her six-year-old gelding Spielbergs Cartier (Spielberg x Jazz). Fieke scored 70.625% with her Freestyle.

Last year she finished runner-up in the same class with Be Special, one of her other horses. In daily life Fieke is working as a radiographer in the VieCurie hospital. Second place went to professional rider Leonie Nijskens from the Dutch village Merlick and her seven-year-old gelding Crespo with a score of 68.917%. Holland’s Lysanne Lucassen from Ulestraten finished in third place. She was awarded with 68.583% for her Kür with the 16-year-old geldig Genzon’s Lucky.

NadineKrause14L6015After the horses the ponies competed in the Euregio Cup Kür to Music. Neighbouring Germany was ruling supreme in this class. Victory went to Nadine Krause from Bad Homburg with her beautiful pony Danilo. The judges awarded her performance with 76.917%. Nadine was already very successvul with Danilo. Last year and this year they won team gold with the Germany at the European Championships for ponies (2013 – Arezzo; 2014 – Millstreet). Runners-up were Kim Burschik and Now and Forever Feivel with 75.542%. Best Dutch combination was 15-year-old Eveline Bos rom Weert with H. Media’s Valentino (73.083%) in third.
