Jumping Indoor Maastricht is delighted that Jean-François Pignon has agreed to perform at the 30th edition of JIM to wow the crowd with his unique show.

The versatile Frenchman has a new show, ‘Black and White’, which not only presents his well-known group of greys but also six black mares. Jean-François Pignon also performed at the 25th anniversary of JIM in 2014.

Pignon, who has been performing internationally for over 30 years, has been training horses since he was 11-years-old with his goal being to communicate with his horses on another level, by working with them in a natural way. He now educates people all over the world by demonstrating his methods.

Jean-François Pignon explains : “The idea for the display originally came from my vet, who asked me to work with these young mares who had never been handled by humans before. One year down the line and the idea is in full development and it is such a pleasure to be able to share this magic with an audience.

Show director Frank Kemperman: “Jean François is a phenomenon. What he can do with his horses, nobody else can. He was the absolute star at this year’s opening ceremony at the CHIO Aachen. He will show the public in Maastricht what horsemanship is on Friday evening and on Saturday afternoon and evening.”

The crowd will certainly enjoy this Dutch premiere!
