Frank Schuttert rode in high speed to victory in the Chapea Prize on Saturday afternoon in the MECC. The Dutch, who rides for the stables of Jos Lansink crossed the finish line in 59.84 seconds with the eight-year-old BWP gelding Go Easy de Muze (by Vigo d’Arsouilles).

He was almost one second faster than runner-up Gert-Jan Bruggink with MCB Ulke, a 13-year-old KWPN mare by Lux. Third place went to British veteran and twofold World Cup champion John Whitaker who won the Maastricht Grand Prix in 1994 with Grannusch. Today he rode the approved KWPN stallion Upgrade (by Heartbreaker). Holland’s Robert Vos finished in fourth place with Wilco B and France’s Anne Sophie Godart took fifth place with Vidretta de Bellignies.
