The international equestrian event Jumping Indoor Maastricht (JIM) offers the top international dressage riders the possibility to start in the beautiful arena of the MECC.

Holland’s top riders Adelinde Cornelissen and Diederik van Silfhout have already confirmed to compete. Adelinde Cornelissen is the current top dressage rider in The Netherlands. During the World Equestrian Games in Caen, France, Adelinde and Jerich Parzival won team and individual bronze (Freestyle). Adelinde will start her talented youngster Zephyr. This Jazz son was bred by her parents.

Because Daniélle Heijkoop had to withdraw due to a injury of her horse Kingsley Siro, Diederik van Silfhout had to pack his suitcase at the very last moment to take her place in the Dutch dressage team for the World Equestrian Games. He did a great job during this championship with his approved stallionArlando NH NOP. The combination won team bronze and finished well individually: nineth in the Grand Prix Special and 11th in the Freestyle.

The entrylist also shows Matthias Alexander Rath from Germany. The rider of Totilas travels to Maastricht with one of his younger talents. The organization of Jumping Indoor Maastricht is working on attracting more big names.

Saturday morning: Euregio!

On Saturday morning the best eight regional dressage riders, who qualified at the Limburg Outdoor Championships, will compete in the MEC against six additional Euregio combinaties in a Freestyle to Music. Last year the class was won by Belgium´s Lavinia Arl and her Florestan-gelding Equestricons Next One.

The competitor field for the Pony Freestyle to Music will consist of two Limburg, two German and two Belgian combinations, who are especially invited for this class. Last year this class was convincingly won by the sister of Lavinia Arl, Antonia with Equestricons Epiascer. Antonia has already the date of JIM in her agenda.
