Yesterday Diederik van Silfhout won the Grand Prix, the Vian Prize, and today he repeated this result in the Grand Prix Freestyle. Diederik’s young and talented horse Bonzanjo showed some good passage and piaffe exercises and recieved eights for the transitions.

Artistically their Freestyle scored high notes as well, especially the music and choreography. The combination received 76.625% for their performance.

There was only a small difference between Diederik and second placed Sönke Rothenberger. The young German rider rode veteran Favourit, formerly ridden by Swedish top rider Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfvén. Favourit and Sönke scored 76.275%. The duo showed nice pirouettes and artistically their Freestyle was of high quality.

Holland’s Patrick van de Meer finished third with Zippo on 75.475%. Patrick and his 11-year-old KWPN gelding performed a nice and fluent Freestyle.
