Last year he had to settle for second place, but this time Glenn Aerts won the Euregion competition, the Marli Hommel Art Prix. The 32-year-old Belgian rider was the fastest in the seven-horse jump-off. Glenn and his 14-year-old mare Cynthia van het Rillaarshof stopped the clock at 32.28 seconds. Runners-up were Mel Thijssen and her 11-year-old KWPN stallion Ambler Gambler (Colander x Numero Uno). Mel, who is the daughter of international Leon Thijssen, rode a clear round too in 33.73 seconds. Third place also went to a rider from the province of Limburg, Kim Mestrom and the 10-year-old Zangersheide gelding Casanova Z (Colander x Faust Z).
