Bart Haselbekke was again too fast for the other competitors in the CSI1* Big Tour class (Table A against the clock 1.30m). He jumped a clear round in 54.77 seconds with the 10-year-old KWPN gelding Dorus (Sam R x Voltaire). The 25-year-old rider from Wierden is being trained by Gerco Schröder and studied business administration at Twente University. Gerd Jan Horsmans finished in second place with the only seven-year-old KWPN stallion Grieg S (by Indoctro). Third place was for Belgium’s Anthony Philippaerts and All Right du Genet (SF, Allegreto x Royal Feu).
Gerd Jan Horsmans did not settle for second place in the Small Tour and won the 1.20m class with a margin of 0,01 seconds. Horsmans, who rides for Egbert Schep Stables, saddled the eight-year-old Zangersheide mare Celinda Z (Calvino Z x Faldo) for this CSI1* competition. The USA’s Sarah Rose Berg finished runner-up with Wonder S (Hann, Contendro I x Picard), followed by Belgium’s Thibaut Bollen and Cassara (Holst, Cassaro x Franklin).
Second victory for Haselbekke, Horsmans wins Small Tour
