45 combinations came to the start in the 4* 1.45m competition (against the clock) and it was Dutchman Lars Kersten who eventually realised the fastest ride.

Kersten managed to improve Maikel van der Vleuten's time, who was in the lead until then, by another 0.24. Kersten from Egchel (Limburg), rode the homebred 10-year-old mare Hallilea (KWPN, VDL Zirocco Blue x Larone) across the finish line in 53.37 seconds. American Lucas Porter made another good attempt to improve Kersten's time but came up just short. He stopped the clock at 53.49 seconds with the 13-year-old mare Hope Street (Holst, Casall x Quick Nick I) and came second. Maikel van der Vleuten finished in third place with the eight-year-old stallion Equus Tame (SF, Qlassic Bois Margot x Quaprice Boimargot Quincy) with a time of 53.61.
