Jumping Indoor Maastricht 2024

This year Jumping Indoor Maastricht will be organised from 8 till 10 November. JIM offers top sport with, among others, the FEI Driving World Cup and the Grand Prix of Maastricht combined with the Limburg hospitality. An event for the whole family!

This edition of Jumping Indoor Maastricht finished with a very exciting final with the Longines Trophy – Grand Prix of Maastricht. The Belgian riders were very successful during the three days and so they were in the Grand Prix.

The MECC Prize, an accumulator with joker, was won by last year’s winner of the Longines Trophy, Hans-Dieter Dreher from Duitsland.

The main class of Saturday evening’s programme was the Audi Prize. Nine combinations stayed clear in the initial round to reach the jump-off of this 1.50m competition, including three combinations from Belgium.

The Saturday evening started with a spectacular speed and handiness class. Albert Zoer’s Heechhiem’s Cancun VDM (KWPN, Balou de Rouet Z x Karandasj) showed all qualities to win this class: speed and handiness!

Timothy Hendrix is in top form in Maastricht. This afternoon he also won the Chapeau Prix with the nine-year-old mare Janou (For Pleasure x Polydor). Yesterday he was also the best in the De Limburger Prix.

Diederik van Silfhout won the Vian Prix, Grand Prix Freestyle on Saturday afternoon with a great score of 80.325%. Arlando N.O.P. was in good form and showed a real good test. Highlights were his passage, piaffe and pirouettes.

The dressage riders were first to enter the arena of Jumping Indoor Maastricht on Saturday morning. The dressage programme started with the Grand Prix Special, which was won by Germany ’s dressage superstar Isabell Werth and her beautiful Hannoverian gelding Don Johnson FRH.

The Belgian jumping riders are having a good start at Jumping Indoor Maastricht. In three out of the four jumping classes they took first prize, including in the main class of today, the VDL Groep Prix.

On Friday evening, 22-year-old Pieter Clemens from Genk, Belgium, won the Limburg Prix, a Top Score with Joker, with the eight-year-old Hannoverian mare Silberrose. The combination collected 1330 points in a time of 65.35 seconds.

Last year he had to settle for second place, but this time Glenn Aerts won the Euregion competition, the Marli Hommel Art Prix. The 32-year-old Belgian rider was the fastest in the seven-horse jump-off.

The opening competition for the jumping riders, the Limburger Prix, was convincingly won by home rider Timothy Hendrix. The 31-year-old rider from the Limburg Province stayed clear in the 1.40m course and set a very fast time of 55.31 seconds.

The scores of the three best combinations in the Vian Prize – Grand Prix de Dressage, were very close, but it was reigning Dutch champion Diederik van Silfhout who received the highest percentage with this Olympic mount Arlando N.O.P.
