For the fourth time in his career, Maikel van der Vleuten clinched the victory in the Grand Prix of Maastricht. In the saddle of the stallion Luigi d’Eclipse he sent his home fans into ecstasy when he stopped the clock at 33.95 seconds. A thrilling conclusion to Jumping Indoor Maastricht and a fully Dutch podium was the cherry on top for the enthusiastic crowd.  

The entry list of the 4* 1.45m competition featured no less than fifty combinations. It was Great Britain’s Robert Murphy who led the victory lap aboard Hulde G. 

The openings class on Friday night went to crowd-pleaser Bram Chardon, but on Saturday it was Boyd Exell that came out on top. 

Jos Verlooy and FTS Killossery seized the win in the 4* Van Mossel Prize at Jumping Indoor Maastricht. The Belgian rider thereby pocketed 10,000 euros on Saturday evening.

A spectacular drive-off secured Bram Chardon the openings class of the FEI World Cup Qualification driving. He shaved off 2 seconds of the time of multiple World Cup winner Boyd Exell. Belgium’s Glenn Geerts placed third. 

Frank Schuttert knows what it's like to win at Jumping Indoor Maastricht. In 2019 he won the Grand Prix of Maastricht with Queensland E. This evening he started his weekend well with a victory in the VDL Groep Prize with his Gream (by Verdi). In a time of 31.72, he was just ahead of Harrie Smolders with Deesse de Kerglenn (by Mylord Carthago).
