The scores of the three best combinations in the Vian Prize – Grand Prix de Dressage, were very close, but it was reigning Dutch champion Diederik van Silfhout who received the highest percentage with this Olympic mount Arlando N.O.P. The 28-year-old Diederik, who made his Olympic debut in Rio de Janeiro this year, was awarded with 75.840% by the judges. With only a difference of 0.300%, the 2016 World Cup Champion Hans Peter Minderhoud finished in second plce with Glock’s Flirt. Minderhoud and his 15-year-old stallion scored 75.540%.
Germany’s dressage queen Isabell Werth took third place with 75.520, only 0.020% less than Hans Peter Minderhoud. Her horse Don Johnson FRH made is comeback in the competition arena in Maastricht after a long pause.
