The Belgian jumping riders are having a good start at Jumping Indoor Maastricht. In three out of the four jumping classes they took first prize, including in the main class of today, the VDL Groep Prix.
Niels Bruynseels showed at the end that the course could be jumped faster than the time set by Remco Been. He rode a super fast round with Gancia de Muze in 33.94 seconds. Bruynseels, who won a silver teammedal as a die als Young Rider at the 2004 Europeans, also recently won the Grand Prix of Helsinki with the same horse.
Holland’s Remco Been had to settle for the runner-up spot with VDL Holland van de Bisschop. The rider from Wierden won the Grands Prix of Wierden, Asten, Tubberten and Hardelot this year. Third place went to Ruben Romp with Audi’s Teavanta II CZ.
